• You cannot use the TAPE SPEED button.
5 Exit the VCR plus+ mode
Press MENU or SELECT button.
To set another program, repeat steps [1] to [5].
6 Set the timer
Press POWER button to set VCR plus+ timer recording. The REC indicator
lights up.
• You must turn off the TV/VCR to activate VCR plus+ timer recording.
If power is not runed off and you continue watching TV, "TIMER REC
STANDBY" starts flashing on the TV screen 2 minutes before the
programmed start time.

TO CANCEL VCR PLUS+ TIMER RECORDING

• While setting a program; press MENU button to return to the TV mode.
• After setting a program;
1) Press POWER button.
2) Press MENU button to point to "TIMER PROGRAMMING".
3) Press CH
appears.
4) Press ADD/DELETE button.
5) Press MENU button to return to the TV mode.
• While recording is in progress;
1) Press POWER button.
2) Press STOP/EJECT button on the TV/VCR.
If you press POWER button to turn off before the end time, timer recording
will continued. Refer to "After setting a program;" above to cancel it.
CHECKING START/END TIME OF AUTOMATIC TIMER AND VCR PLUS+
TIMER RECORDINGS
1) Press POWER button so that the REC indicator goes off.
2) Press MENU button to point to "TIMER PROGRAMMING".
3) Press SELECT button.
4) Select a program number you want to check using CH
The details of selected program appears on the TV screen.
5) Press MENU button. The TV screen returns to the TV mode.

HINTS FOR AUTOMATIC TIMER AND VCR PLUS TIMER RECORDINGS

• Make sure the channel you want to record is properly set in advance.
• It is not necessary to press REC button for timer recording.
• Recording begins automatically at the set of the Start time.
• If you are recording using a Timer mode, you may not operate the unit
manually.
• The erase-prevention tab on the cassette must be in place (or you must put
tape over the hole).
• If the erase protection tab is removed, the cassette will be ejected when the
POWER button is pressed to off.
• If the tape runs out before the end time, the TV/VCR will switch to the Stop
mode immediately, and the tape will be ejected.
