Telephone Maintenance

Always use a damp or antistatic cloth to clean the telephone. Never
use a dry cloth.
If the handset is heavily soiled, clean it with a diluted surfactant-based
neutral cleaner, such as, Pril dishwashing detergent. Afterwards re-
move all traces of the cleaner with a damp cloth (using water only).
Do not use alcohol-based or corrosive cleaners or abrasive powders.

Echo Effect

You may hear a very distinct echo during a call. This effect is not caused by
a product or design fault in your telephone but rather by the other party's
telephone.

Troubleshooting

Pressed key does not respond:
Check whether the key is stuck.
Telephone does not ring:
Check whether you have locked the phone
You cannot dial a station number:
Check whether you have locked the phone
The time displayed is incorrect:
The time is automatically corrected overnight within 24 hours (maximum).
To correct any other problem:
First contact your service personnel. If the service personnel are unable to
correct the problem, contact Customer Service.
