Data usage

You can enable Internet access via mobile network, set limit of
mobile data communications on graph or set alert when usage
exceeds the limit.

From the Home screen,
WIRELESS & NETWORKS, [More...] [Data
usage]

Set [Mobile data] to ON
Data usage managing screen appears and mobile data
communication volume (estimate) per period or per
application is displayed.
To restrict volume of data usage, mark [Set mobile data
limit].
Mark [Restrict background data] to restrict data
communication in background.
Marking [Auto-sync data] synchronizes the
terminal with online service information such as
Google.

Airplane mode

When Airplane mode is set, wireless functions of the terminal
(packet communication, Wi-Fi, Miracast, tethering, Bluetooth
function) are disabled. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth function can be
manually turned on in Airplane mode.

Unmark [Airplane mode]

You can also enable/disable Airplane mode from the tablet
options menu displayed by pressing and holding P.
Connecting to VPN (Virtual Private
Network)
VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a technology to connect to the
information in a protected local network such as enterprises or
universities from another network. To set up a VPN connection
from the terminal, you need to retrieve the information related
to security from your network administrator.
When ISP is set to sp-mode, PPTP is not available.
Authentication may be required. Set security code or
password for the security unlock preference in advance.
