Configuring
Network
Settings
Before
you
boot
your
Fonality
Phone
System,
you
will
need
to
configure
your
network
settings.
A
static
IP
address
should
be
manually
assigned
to
the
Phone
System
to
avoid
unexpected
IP
address
changes
that
may
result
in
a
loss
of
connectivity.
You
should
avoid
DHCP.
CAUTION:
Failure
to
use
a
DHCP
reservation
or
a
static
IP
address
for
your
Fonality
Phone
System
can
result
in
the
IP
address
of
the
server
changing
unexpectedly,
interrupting
the
connection
between
your
server
and
your
IP
phones.
You
will
be
unable
to
make
or
receive
calls
during
this
time.
