NOTE:
After 5 minutes in PAUSE mode, the VCR will automatically enter into STOP mode to protect the tape and the video

Recording One Programme While Watching Another
CHILD LOCK
You can record one programme while watching another simply by choosing the desired channel with the TV channel buttons.
If two programmes that you want to watch are broadcast at the same time, you can record one while watching the other.
Follow steps 1-4 above.
Use the TV channel selector of the TV set to select the channel for watching.
Do not change the VCR channel.
You cannot watch another programme simultaneously if you record a TV programme with the VCR in AV mode.

Use this features to start recording quickly.

Cancelling Quick Start Recording
Press OPERATE or STOP to stop the VCR during quick start recording.
NOTE:
When quick start recording is complete, the VCR will go into STOP mode and will turn off automatically.

Press P/STILL to stop the tape temporarily.
The indicator RECP will appear on the Multi-Function Display. RECP on the TV
screen will also appear.
To continue recording, press P/STILL again.

Press STOP to stop recording.
The recording indicator REC will disappear from the Multi-Function Display.
STOP will appear briefly on the TV screen.
If the tape reaches the end before STOP is pressed, the VCR will stop and start
rewinding the tape to the beginning automatically.
Press REC/QSR to start recording.

Press REC/QSR again. 0H30 and QSR (Ouick Start Recording) will appear on the
Multi-Function Display. Each time the REC/QSR button is pressed, the recording
time will extend in steps of 30 minutes up to a maximum of 9 hours.
