Cleaning the Air Filter

Your projector includes an air lter to ensure the best performance
and help protect your equipment investment. If dust collects on the
air lter, clean it as described here. Dust clogs prevent proper
ventilation and can cause overheating, which can damage the
projector.
1. Turn o the projector.
2. Remove dust from the air lter using a small vacuum cleaner
designed for computer or o ce equipment, or gently clean the
vent with a soft brush (such as an artist's paintbrush).
You can remove the air lter to clean both sides.
If the lter is too dirty or broken, replace the lter as described below.

Replacing the Air Filter

You need to replace the air lter if:
You cannot remove the dust from it
The air lter is damaged or torn
You repeatedly see a projected message telling you to clean or
replace it
