Display Specifications

Specifications for the Stylistic 3400 pen tablet display are given in Table 5-2.. The Stylistic 3400 pen tablet
is available with one of two different displays. Note the display type for your system when referring to
this table. Comments indicate which displays are best suited to particular environments and applications.

External Video Capabilities

The Stylistic 3400 pen tablet can drive an external video monitor. You can select an external monitor, the
pen tablet display screen, or both as the active video display. The pen tablet supports VGA, SVGA, and
XGA video modes with external monitors. Screen resolutions supported for external video monitors are
given in Table 5-3. For pin assignments on the video port connector, see "Video Port" on page 49.
Note: After panning, stretching, or rotating the display, be sure to return the display to its normal resolution
before attempting to recalibrate.
* The pen tablet display supports 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768 resolutions. When using an external monitor at
1024x768 with an SVGA display (800x600), the internal monitor and the external monitor will pan when set to
1024x768. The LCD will not compensate for lower resolutions; when compensating, the area of the display will become
smaller. The screen appearance will depend upon your compensationj setting.
