About this guide
The Service Guide is intended for certified TOSHIBA GA-1121 (Fiery X3e+) and copier
service technicians servicing a GA-1121. If you have not received installation and service
certification, you should not attempt to install or service a GA-1121. Electronics for
Imaging, Inc. does not warrant the performance of the GA-1121 if installed or serviced
by non-certified personnel.
About this guide
This guide is divided into the following sections:
• "Preface"
Gives general information about this guide and general information that you should
know before you attempt to install or service the GA-1121.
• Chapter 1, "Introduction"
Provides general information about the GA-1121.
• Chapter 2, "Using the GA-1121 Control Panel"
Tells you how to use the Control Panel for GA-1121 functions, such as canceling print
jobs or printing Test and Configuration pages.
• Chapter 3, "Service Procedures"
Describes removal and replacement procedures for GA-1121 assembly components.
• Chapter 4, "Troubleshooting"
Identifies the source of common problems and suggests ways of correcting them.
• Appendix A, "Specifications"
Provides an overview of GA-1121 hardware specifications.
Customers should not use the technical service documentation. Do not leave this guide
behind after you make a service call.
