Power Source
This product is designed to operate on normal 240V 50Hz AC power only. Do not attempt to
operate the unit on any other power source. You could cause damage to the product that is not
covered by your warranty.
AC Plug AC Outlet
AC Power Supply Connection
1. Check that the mains voltage on the external AC adaptor rating label corresponds to your
local mains supply.
2. Insert the external AC adaptor cable tip into the AC~9V jack located at the back of the unit.
3. Make sure the wall socket is switched off, and then plug the AC adaptor plug into the wall
socket.
4. Switch on the wall socket.
Caution: The device is connected to the mains with the AC external adaptor. Disconnect the
external AC adaptor with the unit if you want to completely disconnect the device from the
mains. Pull out the mains plug to disconnect the device from the mains. Make sure the power
plug is easily accessible during operation and not hindered by other objects.
Use only the AC adaptor supplied with this unit.Using another AC adaptor may damage the
unit.
DC Backup Battery
Install Battery
1.
Open the battery compartment door.

Install 2 x AAA size batteries (not included) into the battery
compartment (Alkaline batteries is recommended for
longer life time.) according to the polarity markings which are
engraved inside the battery compartment, then close the battery
compartment cover.

setting, radio preset stations are maintained by the backup
batteries.
