Transport / 4WD Switch

The transport/4WD switch is used to set the machine
traction speed for transport or mow. The transport/4WD
rocker switch is located on the control console next to
the operator seat (Fig. 17).
Testing
The switch terminals are shown in Figure 18. The circuit-
ry of the switches is shown in the chart below. With the
use of a multimeter (ohms setting), the switch functions
may be tested to determine whether continuity exists
between the various terminals for each position. Verify
continuity between switch terminals.

Flow Divider Switch

The flow divider switch is used to energize the solenoid
valve in the hydraulic traction manifold. When the flow
divider switch is depressed, traction pump hydraulic
flow is split between the front wheel motors (approxi-
mately 45%) and rear axle motor (approximately 55%)
to reduce the chance that excessive flow goes to a spin-
ning wheel. The flow divider switch only functions when
the machine transport/4WD switch is in the 4WD posi-
tion. The flow divider rocker switch is located on the con-
trol console (Fig. 19).
Testing
The switch terminals are shown in Figure 20. The circuit-
ry of the switches is shown in the chart below. With the
use of a multimeter (ohms setting), the switch functions
may be tested to determine whether continuity exists
between the various terminals for each position. Verify
continuity between switch terminals.
