(6)-3 Speed dial memory programming
1. Press [MENU] 3 times.
2. Press [SET].
3. Enter a speed-dial
number using the number keys.
Example:
To store a fax number in the speed-dial
number 10, press [1], then [0].
4. Press [SET].

5. Enter the party's name (to a maximum of 16 characters).

6. Press [SET].
7. Enter the fax (or telephone)
number to be stored.
A maximum of 32 digits can be entered, including
pauses and hyphens.
Example:
1-222-3333
8. Press [SET].
Repeat steps 3-8 to program other numbers.
9. Press [STOP/C] to finish speed-dial number programming,

To enter a hyphen (-) between a number, press [SPEED DIAL].
c To enter a three-second
pause between two digits of a number, press [REDIAL/P]
in the appropriate
place.
A semicolon
(;) indicates a pause.
. If you make a mistake in entering fax/phone
number, move the cursor over the digit to be changed using the
[}]
key (one-touch
key 7) or [ < ] key (one-touch
key 6), and press [DELETE]
key (one-touch
key 8) to delete the
digit. Then enter the correct digit.
