(2) Explanation of each test modes
a) INITIAL SETTING
1) Press [SET] + [MENU]. (over 1sec.)
(~Refer to 6-3-(1 ).)

3) Press [SET] or [MENU].
[SET] : Clear all items then goes to next test mode,
"RAM CODE SET".
Note) At the same time of
this operation,
S-RAM
check is also carried out. In case of error, refer to 8).
[MENU] : Individual item (RAM CODE).

4) Press [SET] or [MENU].
[SET] : Initialize RAM CODE and goes to next menu.
[MENU] : Next menu (One touch and speed dial)
5) Press [SET] or [MENU].
[SET] : Clear one touch and speed dial memory and goes to
next menu.
[MENU] : Next menu. (DIAL BANK)
6) Press [SET] or [MENU].
[SET] : Clear a DIAL BANK data and goes to next menu,
"REPORT DATA'.
[MENU] : Goes to next menu (Report Data)
7) Press [SET] or [MENU].
[SET] : Clear activity report data and goes to next mode,
"RAM CODE SET".
[MENU] : Goes to next test mode 'RAM CODE SET'
8) In case of S-RAM error.
Alarm sounds continuously and the machine goes into
"dead lock" condition. Repairing is required.
(Check S-RAM
and Peripheral circuit.)
b) RAM CODE SETTING
1) Press [SET] + [MENU]. (over 1sec.)

2) Press [MENU].

3) Press [SET] or [COPY].
[SET] : Change the contents.
[COPY] : Issue RAM CODE LIST.
4) Input the SW. No. using numeric or [MENU] key to select
SW. No. and press [SET].
5) Input the SET CODE using numeric or [MENU] key and
press [SET].
(Next SW. No. is automatically displayed)
6) Repeat the steps (4) and (5) on demands.
7) Press [STOP] to finish.
The machine goes to next test mode, "SCAN TEST".
