All airflow indicators
Stop the operation, unplug the power cord from the AC outlet and contact your dealer for service.

Troubleshooting Guide

Before asking for repair
Symptom
No air blows out
or no power is
supplied
Smoke or
smells are
not efficiently
removed, or
there is an odor
No remote
operation
Airflow rate
does not
decrease even
though the air is
clean
Airflow rate
does not
increase even
though the air is
contaminated
"Air Sensor" indicator
remains constantly lit
in green
"Air Sensor"
indicator is kept
blinking in green.
Symptom
are blinking.
Check the following again
Check to see
Is power plug securely inserted
into the AC outlet?
Is the breaker switched off?
Is the pre-filter very dirty?
Is the filter dirty?
Are battery polarities correct?
Are batteries dead?
Is the remote infrared receiver
dirty?
Has airflow rate been switched?
Is the operation in the
"Humidify" mode?
Is sensor sensitivity high?
Has airflow rate been switched?
Is the odor sensor hole blocked
by dust or other obstacles ?
Is sensor sensitivity low?
Was the ambient air clean
when the unit power cord was
plugged into the AC outlet?
Is the unit installed in a location
away from odor or dust?
Is the odor sensor hole blocked
by dust or other obstacles ?
Is the dust sensor covered with
dust?
Is the odor sensor hole blocked
by dust or other obstacles ?
Cause
Faulty fan rotation.
Solution
Securely insert the power plug into the
AC outlet.
Switch on breaker.
Clean the pre-filter, referring to the "Pre-
filter" in "Cleaning".
Replace the filter, referring to the "Filter
Replacement". The filter may need to be
replaced earlier depending on the installation
location and conditions of use.
Insert the batteries with correct
polarities.
Replace the batteries.
Clean the remote infrared receiver.
Press the airflow button and select Auto Sensor
or another airflow rate.
Airflow rate will not decrease when humidity
is low.
Change the sensor sensitivity
setting.
Press the airflow button and select Auto Sensor
or another airflow rate.
Clean the odor sensor.
Change the sensor sensitivity
setting.
Change the airflow rate. Or open a window
and plug the power cord into the AC outlet
when ambient air is clean.
Relocate the air unit.
Clean the odor sensor.
Clean the dust sensor.
Clean the odor sensor.
