Controls

Seat Controls
The seat adjusting lever (Figure 16) allows you
to adjust the seat 4 inches fore and aft. The seat
adjusting knob (Figure 16) adjusts the seat for the
operator's weight. To adjust the seat fore and aft,
pull the lever on the left side of the seat assembly
outward. After moving the seat to the desired
location, release the lever to lock the seat into
position. To adjust for the operator's weight, turn
the spring tension knob clockwise to increase
tension or counterclockwise to decrease tension.

Traction Pedal
The traction pedal (Figure 17) controls forward
and reverse operation. Press the top of the
pedal to move forward and the bottom to move
rearward. Ground speed depends on how far you
press the pedal. For no load, maximum ground
speed, fully press the pedal while the throttle is in
the Fast position.
To stop, reduce foot pressure on the traction pedal
and allow it to return to the center position.

Traction Speed Limiter
Preset this lever (Figure 18) to limit the amount
the traction pedal can be pressed in the forward
direction to maintain a constant mowing speed.
