Servicing the Fuel Filter

Service Interval: Every 800 hours
1. Close the fuel shutoff valve

2. Clean the area where the filter canister mounts

3. Place a drain pan under the fuel filter.
4. Open the filter drain plug and breather valve

5. Remove the filter canister and clean the mounting
surface.
6. Lubricate the gasket on the filter canister with clean oil.

7. Install the filter canister by hand until the gasket
contacts the mounting surface, then rotate an additional
1/2 turn.
8. Tighten the drain plug on the bottom of the filter
canister and open the fuel shut off valve.
9. Dispose of the fuel and filter according to local
regulations.
Inspecting the Fuel Lines and
Connections
Service Interval: Every 2 years
Inspect the fuel lines for deterioration, damage, or loose
connections.
