1 Battery and charging

1.1 How do I increase the phone standby time?

Turn off the screen when you are not using the phone.
Decrease the screen sleep time.
Decrease the screen brightness.
Decrease the volume.
Turn off vibration for incoming calls.
Switch to a 2G/3G network when not using 4G.
When you are not using mobile data, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or GPS, slide down the status bar to
turn off the shortcut switch for the corresponding function.
You can increase standby time by using the power saving function.
Go to Settings, select Power saving and then select power saving mode or close
power-intensive background apps.
Huawei will release the latest software versions on its official website. In order to enjoy the
best possible user experience, please visit the Huawei Downloads Page and find the
appropriate download for your model. Alternatively, you can update to the latest software
version via an over-the-air update. If the problem persists, please contact Huawei customer

1.2 How to determine the battery is full of charge?

If you are charging when the phone is switched on, press the power button to turn on the
screen. The battery is fully charged when the battery icon in the status bar changes to
the charging status on the lock screen is Charged.
If you are charging when the phone is switched off, press the power button to turn on the
screen. The battery is fully charged when the charging indicator on the screen turns green
and stop flashing.
