ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Test Equipment Required
The following test Equipments are required for
adjustment of the Jog Pad.
Digital Voltmeter
2. Disassembling Procedure for
Adjustment
Referring to Fig. 2-1, remove five screws that secure the
Bottom Cover and remove the Bottom Cover.
Remove five screws.

3. Adjustment Procedure
Refer to the Location of the Test Points and
Adjusting Controls as below.
(1). Wipe High Level Adjustment
Test Point:
TP2 (WIPE H)
TP3 (WIPE L)
Adjust:
VR3 (WIPE H)
Move the Wipe Level Controls and Audio Level Knob to +
side slightly.
Connect the Digital Voltmeter to TP3 and measure the
voltage at TP3 (this voltage is E).
Change the connection of the Digital Voltmeter to TP2.
Adjust VR3 so that the voltage at TP2 becomes E – (0.2 ±
0.05) V.
(2). Wipe Low Level Adjustment
Test Point:
TP3 (WIPE L)
Adjust:
VR4 (WIPE L)
Move the Wipe Level Controls and Audio Level Knob to
the frontward slightly.
Connect the Digital Voltmeter to TP3.
Adjust VR4 to obtain –0.2 ± 0.05 V.
