(5) Warp the cable protection plate and release it from the color LCD.

Reassembling Notes
1) Set the cable protection plate to the color LCD so that the LCD flat cable runs under the cable
protection plate. Make sure that the cable is folded as shown above.
2) While pulling the LCD leaf spring outwards, mount the plastic hinge onto the color LCD and
fully turn it clockwise (viewed from the right).
3) Temporarily put the assembly of the color LCD and the plastic hinge on the upper cover.
While lightly pressing down the plastic hinge, slide the color LCD to the left and fit its left end
over the boss provided on the upper cover. Slide the plastic hinge to the left until it latches.
4) While pressing the plastic hinge to the left, secure it with the screw.
5) Connect the LCD flat cable to the main PCB by pressing down its cable film.
6) Mount the center panel ASSY onto the upper cover using the following procedure.
- Turn the color LCD upright.
- Align the rear end of the center panel ASSY with the upper cover while pressing down the
LCD flat cable. Make sure that the center panel-main harness runs through the left opening
in the center panel ASSY.
- While pulling the front end of the right (left) center panel rightwards (leftwards), close the
color LCD to an angle of approx. 45°.
- Slightly lift up the right rear corner of the center panel ASSY and press it to the front, then
push down the front edge of the right center panel to snap it into place.
- In the same way, push down the front edge of the left center panel to snap it into place.
- Secure the center panel ASSY to the upper cover with two screws.
7) After mounting the color LCD, wipe fingerprints or dust off the LCD surface with a soft cloth.
