4.2 Replacing the AC/DC Power Equipment
The AC/DC power equipment is used in an AC cabinet, converting external 220 V AC input
power into -48 V DC power.

The tools and materials, such as an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves, M3 screwdriver, and
M6 screwdriver, are ready.
The quantities and types of module to be replaced are confirmed, and the new modules are
ready.
The authorized personnel are permitted to enter the site. The required keys are available.
The AC/DC power equipment consists of the Power Distribution Unit (PDU), Power
Supply Unit (PSU), Power Monitoring Unit (PMU), and subrack. When a component of
the AC/DC power equipment is faulty, you only need to replace the faulty component.
When the entire AC/DC power equipment is faulty, you need to replace the AC/DC power
equipment.
