4.1 Components of the SINUMERIK 810D
PCMCIA card
The NC card with the system software must remain inserted during
(NC card) operation.
Note
For a software upgrade, the export software can be copied onto the internal
flash EPROM.
In addition to the software upgrade, the PCMCIA card can also be used for
series commissioning; see
