6-5. Troubleshoot (INVALID error message)

Following tables show major causes and ways to cope with "INVALID" error message.
When occurred?
Executed Auto white
balance (AWB)
adjustment.
Pressed a user button,
ONE PUSH AF
function assigned.
Pressed a user button,
ATW LOCK (a feature
to stop Auto tracking
white balance control)
function assigned.
Pressed a user button,
Electric Image
Stabilizer (E.I.S.)
function assigned.
Pressed a user button,
DIGITAL ZOOM
function assigned.

PRE REC function
assigned.
Cause
White balance mode is NOT set to
AWB.
Record mode is in IR mode.
COLOR BARS is being turned ON.
The lens currently attached does
NOT support auto focus function.
COLOR BARS is being turned ON.
EI mode (ISO or GAIN) setting is too
high, ISO12800 or higher (+20dB or
higher).
ATW is not selected as white
balance mode.
COLOR BARS is being turned ON.
SDI RAW output mode is being
turned ON.
SENSOR MODE is set to "4/3
CROP&MIX 2.2K".
D.ZOOM is being turned ON.
Optical image stabilizer on the lens
is in use.
The EVA1 is currently recording (on
built-in recorder and/or external
recorder connected via SDI, HDMI.
SDI RAW output mode is being
turned ON.
SENSOR MODE is set to "4/3
CROP&MIX 2.2K".
The EVA1 is currently recording (on
built-in recorder and/or external
recorder connected via SDI, HDMI.
Variable frame rate record mode is
being turned ON
Record mode is NOT NORMAL
mode.
Slot change is in process.
The EVA1 is currently recording (on
built-in recorder and/or external
recorder connected via SDI, HDMI..
PRE REC is under ON (or OFF)
process.
SDI RAW output mode is being
turned ON.
Set CAMERA SETTINGS > WHITE > VALUE > AWB
MEMORY.
Set CAMERA SETTINGS > IR SHOOTING > OFF.
Turn OFF "COLOR BARS" with a user button.
Use lenses support auto focus.
Turn OFF "COLOR BARS" with a user button.
When EI mode is "dB"
Set CAMERA SETTINGS > EI > GAIN SELCET > +20dB or
below.
When EI mode is "ISO"
Set CMAERA SETTINGS > EI > ISO SELECT > 12800 or
below.
Set CAMERA SETTINGS > WHITE > VALUE > ATW.
NOTE: VALUE item cannot be set to "ATW" while in V-Log
mode. Set SYSTEM SETTINGS > COLOR SETTINGS > MAIN
item to turn OFF the V-Log mode.
Turn OFF "COLOR BARS" with a user button.
Set SYSTEM SETTINGS > SYSTEM MODE >SDI RAW > OFF.
Set SYSTEM SETTINGS > SYSTEM MODE > SENSOR
MODE > S35 5.7K or CROP 4K.
Turn OFF "D.ZOOM" with a user button.
Turn OFF OIS.
The E.I.S function cannot be turned ON/OFF while recording.
Stop recording and try again.
Set SYSTEM SETTINGS > SYSTEM MODE >SDI RAW > OFF
Set SYSTEM SETTINGS > SYSTEM MODE > SENSOR
MODE > S35 5.7K or CROP 4K.
The DIGITAL ZOOM function cannot be turned ON/OFF while
recording. Stop recording and try again.
Set CAMERA SETTINGS > FPS > VFR SW > OFF
Set REC SETTINGS > REC FUNCTION > REC MODE >
NORMAL
Wait until slot change process finishes.
The PRE REC function cannot be turned ON/OFF while
recording. Stop recording and try again.
Wait until the change process finishes.
Set SYSTEM SETTINGS > SYSTEM MODE >SDI RAW > OFF
