1. Remove the cover from under the notch as shown.
2. Insert up to three batteries into the slots, taking note of the
correct polarity.
3. Press the cover in the direction of the arrows to replace it.
CAUTION:
• The bundled batteries are not chargeable.
• If you do not use the mouse for a long time, remove the batteries.
• Use new or similar-type batteries.

1. Remove the USB receiver from the USB compartment and then turn the power switch to
1100dpi for normal use or to 1600dpi for better performance.
2. Insert the USB receiver into your computer's USB port.
NOTES:
• You can store the USB receiver inside the mouse.
• To save power, turn off the power when you are not using the mouse.
Installing the tilt wheel driver
Go to ASUS website at www.asus.com to download the latest driver for the 4-Way Scrolling
tilt wheel and install it to use the 4-Way Scrolling feature.
