35601A Since this instrument is only used in the -hp- 3047A System, the actual program
ming of the -hp- 35601A is not discussed in this operating section; all of the necessary HP-IB
control is included in the system software. The operator of the -hp- 35601A need only be
concerned with the uses of the front and rear panel controls and jacks
3-2. FRONT PANEL
Figure 3-1 contains a diagram of the front panel of the -hp- 35601 A. The text included in
Mgure 3-1 describes the numbered items in the diagram.
CAUTION
Before applying ac-linepower to the -hp- 35601A, be sure that the
VOLTAGE SELECTOR switches are set for the proper line
voltage and the correct line fuse is installed in the rear panel FUSE
holder.

Figure 3-2 contains a diagram of the rear panel of the -hp- 35601 A. The text included in
figure 3-2 describes the numbered items in the diagram.
