> Then insert the plug of the power adapter into a mains
power socket whose voltage matches the information given
on the power adapter type plate.

Switching between power supplies

The DYNAMO/BATTERY switch d, with which you can select
different power sources, is located on the rear of the device.
> Place this switch in the position DYNAMO to power the
device from the built-in Ni-MH batteries.
> Place this switch in the position BATTERY to power the
device from the batteries in the battery compartment.
> Power provision from a mains power adapter functions in
both switch positions.

Charging the batteries

Should the device functions diminish whilst it is being powerered
from the built-in Ni-MH batteries, it means they are drained.
> In this case, fold out the lever of the dynamo crank
then turn the dynamo any direction until the functions are
restored.
> During the period that the batteries are being charged, the
CHARGE indicator r lights up.
> When done, place the dynamo crank
position.
