Chapter 2 Preparations
2. Unlock the fan bracket as shown below, and remove the failed fan from the fan case.
Front fan unit
(FAN1, FAN2, FAN3)
Rear fan unit
(FAN4, FAN5)
Power supply fan unit
(FAN6)
3. Insert the new fan unit for replacement into the fan case.
4. Confirm that no error messages are displayed in POST screen or STATUS LED does not show an error.
If any error messages are displayed, see Chapter 3 (1. POST Error Message) in "Maintenance Guide".
