WARNING : DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONNECT
AN AMPEROMETER BETWEEN A "TEST" TERMINAL
AND A "COMM" TERMINAL. THE RESULT TO THE
POWER SUPPLY IS A SHORT WHICH WILL BLOW
FUSES AND POSSIBLY DAMAGE YOUR EQUIPMENT,
ALSO CAUSING TO INTERRUPT FUNCTION OF
OTHER DEVICES POWERED FROM SAME SUPPLY.
Model 691HT Communicator
may be connected at any wiring
termination point in the loop,
providing the minimum
resistance is 250 ohm.
If this is less than 250 ohm,
additional resistance should be
added to allow communications.

. . . ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
NOTE: If the use of the Hand Held Communicator is
foreseen, a resistance of 250 ohms minimum must be
included in the current loop, between the power supply and
the connection point of the Hand Held Terminal, for
communication purpose.
Here below is given an explanation regarding the possible
connection of the terminal block to the power supply and a
representation of the connection in case of remote indicator
presence (See fig. 8b and 8c).
