Caller ID for Analog Extensions (CLIP)

When the system receives an incoming call with caller
ID (enabled by the local carrier), the extension config-
ured to use this feature receives and displays the call-
er's data on the telephone display.
For example,

Profiset 3020
Profiset 3025
Gigaset 4010
The telephone must have an external power supply and
comply with the appropriate regulations.
Required: Programming Mode must be active (*95
31994).
Enter the code for programming.
0 1 0
Enter the analog extension number (e.g., 12/102).
Select the type of configuration:
= No Caller ID (default)
0
= DTMF prior to ringing
1
2
= DTMF during ringing
= FSK prior to ringing
3
= FSK during ringing
4
On Profiset 3030 telephones the MUTE option is
automatically activated with Silent Monitoring.
Within the system, Silent Monitoring has the
same restrictions as the Conference and Over-
ride features.
A maximum of 2 simultaneous conferences is al-
lowed by the system. Note: The Override feature
is ticketed as a Conference.
If the monitoring or the monitored party change
status, Silent Monitoring will be canceled. This oc-
curs, for example, when a call is placed on hold.
