Point to be checked
Check for insufficient soldering at each LED.
If there is no soldering problem, check
KEYB Assy
whether a forward voltage (2.2 to 2.7 V) is
detected at both ends of the LED.
Check that a control signal is output for
KEYB Assy
each LED from pin 4, 14, 16, 18, 19 or
21 of CN7501.
FLCB Assy
If any of the above cases is not applicable.
Point to be checked
Check for insufficient connection in the signal
line between the sub-CPU (IC7011) and the
KEYB Assy
key (around the CN7501 connector for
connection with FLCB Assy).
FLCB Assy
If any of the above cases is not applicable.
Point to be checked
Check the V+5E_7 power for the remote
control receptor (U7501) and mounting
KEYB Assy
condition of the parts related to the remote
control receptor.
If any of the above cases is not applicable.
Point to be checked
Check the wiring for the peripheral circuits
DECM Assy
of the ETHER IC (IC3505).
DECM Assy
If any of the above cases is not applicable.
Point to be checked
Check the wiring for the peripheral circuits
FLCB Assy
of the RS232C IC (IC7302).
Check the status of communication with the
PC via the D-SUB 15-pin connector
FLCB Assy
(JAMMA).

Measures to be taken
Eliminate any soldering problems.
If there is a forward voltage, an LED part is defective.
Replace the defective part.
If any LED does not light even though the corresponding
control signal is being fed, the corresponding transistor
(Q7503, Q7504, Q7506, Q7507, Q7509, or Q7510) is
defective. Replace the defective part or the KEYB Assy.
Replace the FLCB Assy.
Measures to be taken
If conduction is not achieved at the both ends of the key
when you press it, even though there is no wiring
problem, a part of the key is defective. Replace the
defective part or the KEYB Assy.
Replace the FLCB Assy.

There may be improper wiring or a defective part in
the power block. Improve the wiring or replace the
defective part of the power block. If no problem is
found in the power block, replace the remote control
receptor or the KEYB Assy.
Replace the FLCB Assy.
Measures to be taken
Check the wiring on the communication line.
Eliminate any improper wiring by soldering.
Replace the DECM Assy.
Measures to be taken
Check the wiring on the communication line.
Eliminate any improper wiring by soldering.
If there is no problem in communication, the
RS232C IC (IC7302) is defective.
Replace the defective part or the FLCB Assy.
Replace the parts in the following order and check
co
the operation.
