Outline
This specifies possible errors that may occur on HD-V9000.
The errors specified herein are only those that require alerting users with error messages.
Error logs generated by the software are not specified. (Error log-generation for error messages is only mentioned. )
Basic rules
Locations of indications
LCD: Displays all error indications.
Main monitor: No error indications displayed.
Submonitor: Displays error indications only when the Monitor OSD setting is "Top" or "Bottom."

Number of characters for display
As the number of characters for display on the LCD is strictly limited, concise phrasing is employed.
In principle, the OSD messages must be the same as the messages displayed on the LCD.

All of 16 characters x 2 lines can be used for message indication.

[Submonitor]
When displaying on the submonitor, the format is the same (textual) as that for the Monitor OSD.
The position is fixed regardless of the Monitor OSD setting (Top/Bottom).
The Monitor OSD and error messages will be displayed at the same time (as requested from the Planning Division).
The display positions are as shown below:

A block for 16 characters x 2 lines is displayed at the center on the canvas in up to 24 characters x 12 lines.
The starting position of the display is fixed regardless of the number of characters to be displayed.

Trigger for erasing
There are two types of triggers, depending on the types of errors. (Shown in the Erasing Trigger column of the Error List)
1. xx sec.: Disappears in approx. xx sec.
2. Power Off: Disappears when power/AC is turned off or when the error is eliminated.
