applications that are used to manage UM8000. This requires an Internet connection
and Web browser for users who access either of these applications.

ECTION
UNIVERGE UM8000 is designed to take advantage of the SV8100 and SV8300 IP
PBX chassis, enabling UM8000 use the PBX resources, power source, and battery
backup in an integration that is superior to other comparable messaging systems.
Included in the base-system are standard features such as: Live Record, Soft Key
Support, and Constant Message Count.
While all configurations of UNIVERGE UM8000 enable you to add text-to-speech,
Hospitality, PMS interface, additional languages, and fax. One of the key architectural
elements of UM8000 is that it uses non-volatile media for message storage; this
compact flash drive provides a long service life for the messaging system.
