After transporting the machine, stand the
machine in an upright position to allow the oil
to drain through the engine and settle back into
the crankcase.
Important:
Allow the oil to settle for at least
2 minutes after standing the machine upright
before you start the engine.
Operating Tips
•
Keep the machine upright so that it contacts the
ground with the entire shoe, rather than with just
the front or back edge of the shoe.
•
Allow the machine to do the work; pushing
downward on the handle limits the effectiveness of
the machine.
•
On level surfaces, the machine moves forward in
rapid jumps. On uneven surfaces, tilt the machine
as necessary to assist the forward movement.
•
The jump height of the machine increases as the
ground becomes more compacted.
