Preventing fire hazards
As the appliance functions using high
temperatures, please observe the
following safety instructions so that
no fire may arise.
The appliance must only be posi-
tioned on stable, even, dry and
inflammable surfaces to prevent
it from toppling over, shifting,
or the base catching fire and the
appliance being damaged as a
result.
While positioning the appliance,
ensure that there is a space of
at least 50 cm between it and
other objects so that it cannot
catch fire.
Preventing damage to property
CAUTION! To avoid dam-
age to property, please
observe the following provisions:
The appliance must not be placed
on hot stove tops, pushed into a
hot oven or positioned near gas
and flow heaters, as this could
lead to it being damaged.
Only use utensils made from wood
or heat-resistant plastic. Utensils
made from metal could damage
the coated surfaces.
It cannot be ruled out that care
products for storage shelves (fur-
niture) may contain elements
which corrode and soften the
rubber feet. Therefore, place the
appliance on a surface which is
non-flammable.
Do not place any objects on the
appliance.
During thunderstorms, the appli-
ance, which is connected to the
power supply, may be damaged
by lightning.
