5.2 Replacing an Optional BSC Card

Impact on the System
The output of other vendor's UPS cannot be tracked.
Preparations


Context
During BSC card replacement, an Absent optional BSC card alarm will be triggered. There
is no need to clear this alarm.
Procedure
Step 1 Record the cable positions on the BSC card, and disconnect the cables.
Step 2 Remove the BSC card.
Step 3 Install a new BSC card.
Step 4 Connect the sampling cable and signal cables based on the recorded information.
Step 5 Verify that the POWER indicator on the BSC card is on.
