4.5 MAU Power Supply Terminal Block Connection

When using 10BASE5, connect the power (12 VDC) supplied to MAU (transceiver) to the
plus and minus 12 Vdc terminals and the ground line to FG (frame ground) terminal. Use
type D ground.
When using 10BASE-T, connect only the FG terminal to ground line. Use type D ground.
FL312 does not have an external power supply. It must be provided by the customer.
Select the external power according to the usage environment and number of FL312.

When supplying power to the MAU power supply terminal bock, be sure to connect the plus and
minus of the 12 VDC correctly. Wrong connection will result in equipment failure.
