Malfunction
Liquid escapes at the
lid 34 of the blender
jug 5
No temperature can be
set.
Parts of the device are
discoloured.
A speed setting ex-
ceeding 3 cannot be
selected.
The device stops after
15 minutes.
When switching on,
the set time is automat-
ically set to 15:00.
The lid 34 / the deep
steamer basket 3 can-
not be opened.
Cause
Seal 33 has not been inserted
correctly.
Seal 33 is defective.
A speed setting 4 - 10 was se-
lected.
Certain food or spices (e.g.
curry) may discolour plastic.
This is not a defect with the de-
vice
A temperature has been set.
A speed setting 7 - 10 was se-
lected. At these speed set-
tings, the device will function
for a maximum of 15 minutes
without a pause.
The electronic lock is activated
(see "Automatic lock" on
page 14).
Did you try to open the
lid 34 / the deep steamer
basket 3 while the LED
was lit?
Possibly, the electronic lock is
blocked.
Remedy
Insert seal 33 correctly (see
"Cleaning, checking and replac-
ing seals" on page 29).
Insert new seal 33 (see "Clean-
ing, checking and replacing seals"
on page 29).
Select speed setting 0 - 3 (see "Set-
ting the speed" on page 17)
Remedy unnecessary, since not
harmful to health.
Set temperature to 0.
Select speed setting 0 - 6 (see "Set-
ting the speed" on page 17).
Stop the device and wait until the
LED 15 has gone out before
opening the lid 34 / the deep
steamer basket 3.
Turn the lid 34 / the deep steamer
basket 3 with both hands clock-
wise until it is completely closed
