Installation Requirements of the Cabinet and Mounting Ears
NOTE
Before installing the equipment, ensure that the cabinet has already been installed. The cabinet can be installed
on the ESD floor or concrete floor. For details about how to install the cabinet, see the Cab inet Installation Guide
delivered with the cabinet.
The equipment can be installed in an ETSI cabinet, a 21-inch open rack, or a 19-inch standard cabinet.
NOTE
The equipment can be installed when no guide rail is provided. You can install the mounting ears and
equipment based on the following procedure:
1. Separately mount M6 screws into the bottom -lower floating nuts of the mounting bar on both sides of the
cabinet, and reserve sufficient space for installing mounting ears between the screws and the mounting bar.
Then, confirm that an appropriate length of M6 screws is inserted into the floating nuts to avoid fall -off of the
chassis.
2. Place the chassis into the cabinet. Note: Place the cucurbit-shape holes in the lower part of the
mounting ears onto the M6 screws and use the M6 screws to secure the chassis onto the cabinet.
