8-3. RF Switching Position Adjustment

Be sure to perform the RF switching position adjustment whenever the tape path
adjustment (refer to Section 8-2) is performed.
Perform this adjustment in the AUTO mode.
Basic knowledge
To perform the RF switching position adjustment using the alignment tape (XH5-
1A2 for NTSC or XH5-1AP2 for PAL), refer the following items.
. For the procedure to enter the maintenance menu, refer to Section 5-2-2.
. For the procedure to exit the maintenance menu, refer to Section 5-2-3.

Adjustment procedure
RF switching position adjustment using the
[AUTO adjustment]
1. Enter the maintenance menu.
2. Move the cursor to "TAPE PATH ADJUST" which is
displayed with a white background using the
[AUDIO|IN] (9) or [IN] (0) key.

3. Press the [ENTER|SHIFT] (8) key.
"TAPE PATH ADJUST" is selected and its lower
layer submenu appears.
