1.9 Real time clock and C-MOS RAM

SCE8720C has a real time clock which provides clock and calendar functions and CMOS
RAM used to hold system configuration information. The real time clock is compatible
with 146818.
Power must be supplied constantly to the V in order to maintain the operation of the

real time clock and the contents of CMOS RAM.
When V is supplied even while the system power is OFF, power from the V is

used for backup. When both the system power and V is OFF, battery power from the
CCSTB
V is used.
