Lubricate the gasket of the new filter with the
specified hydraulic fluid; refer to
Specifications (page

Clean the filter-mounting area of the hydraulic
manifold

Thread the filter onto the filter mount until gasket
manifold, then tighten filter one-half turn.

Tow machine to power the hydraulic system and
check for hydraulic leaks.
Changing the Hydraulic
Fluid
Service Interval: Every 2,000 hours—If you
are using the recommended
hydraulic fluid, change the
hydraulic fluid.
Every 800 hours—If you are not using the
recommended hydraulic fluid or have ever
filled the reservoir with an alternative fluid,
change the hydraulic fluid.
Hydraulic reservoir fluid capacity: approximately
9.5 L (2.5 US gallon)
Important:
If fluid becomes contaminated,
contact your authorized Toro distributor because
you must drain the complete hydraulic system.
Contaminated fluid looks milky or black when
compared to clean oil.

Remove the return hose from the fitting in the
hydraulic manifold and allow the hydraulic fluid
to drain completely

Install and tighten return hose

Clean area around filler neck and cap of
hydraulic reservoir, and remove the cap; refer to

Add approximately 9.5 L (2.5 US gallon) of the
specified hydraulic fluid; refer to
