General Maintenance and Repair Work Instructions
The following has to be checked and fulfilled before starting work:
Do you know all the necessary safety instructions?
Have you received the required training or instructions and therefore
the required knowledge to carry out the task?
Do you have the necessary tools and the required resources (e.g.
insulated tools, safety test prods)? Are these in perfect condition?
Are you wearing the appropriate clothing (e.g. tight-fitting clothing,
hair net if necessary), do you need to remove jewellery (rings,
necklaces, bracelets, etc...)?
Do I need to wear special safety clothing for the tasks to be carried out?
This includes, among other things:
Protective goggles
Safety helmet
Safety shoes
Gloves
Note!
Knowledge of the Dangers and Conduct during
Maintenance Work
In general, the owner of the installation has to make sure that the
maintenance personnel know the dangers and rules of conduct when
carrying out maintenance work. Therefore, we recommend regular
training courses and instructions for the maintenance personnel.
You are working with electronic assemblies that react sensitively to
electrostatic discharge (ESD) and are explicitly marked as electrostatic
sensitive assemblies.
Damage does not have to lead to immediate breakdown, but it can cause the
component to work instable, which in turn affects the operational safety of
the machine.
