Connect the three connectors and the compressed air hose under the
transport deck to the scanner:
Interfaces on the bottom side of the assembly (accessible through the
transport deck when installed)
1 Compressed air connection
X10 Scanner power supply (9 pin sub-D connector)
X11 Signal input, shaft encoder and light barrier (15 pin sub-D connector)
X12 Image data output (MDR-26 connector)
Note!
The type of lock on the cable connector for secure cable fastening of
the power supply and the hardware signal cables are defined by the
machine supplier and can be screw locks or quick locks.
The camera link cable supplied by Siemens provides connectors with
quick locks on both cable ends.
Note!
The compressed air hose (outer diameter 8 mm) is pushed directly into
the compressed air connector of the CLSC.
Ensure that the cables and the compressed air hose have about 30 cm
excess length underneath the scanner.
Note!
This is necessary, to be able to move the scanner upwards into
maintenance position (see documentation "Colour Letter Scanner
CLSC3000, Maintenance Instructions").
