Avoid hazard by:
1. Filling batteries in a well-ventilated area.
2. Wearing eye protection and rubber gloves.
3. Avoiding breathing fumes when electrolyte is added.
4. Avoiding spilling or dripping electrolyte.
5. Using proper booster battery starting procedures.
If you spill acid on yourself, call 911, then:
1. Flush your skin with water.
2. Apply baking soda or lime to help neutralize the acid.
3. If splashed in eyes, flush with water for 10 to 15
minutes. Get medical attention immediately.
If acid is swallowed, call 911, then:
1. Drink large amounts of water or milk.
2. Then drink milk of magnesia, beaten eggs, or
vegetable oil.
3. Get medical attention immediately.
IMPORTANT: Add water to batteries when cool weather
before you begin operating your machine for the day,
or else charge the batteries.
IMPORTANT: If the battery is used with the electrolyte
solution level lower than the specified level, the
battery performance may deteriorate quickly.
IMPORTANT: Do not refill electrolyte solution more than
the specified upper level. Electrolyte solution may
spill, damaging painted surfaces and/or corroding
other machine parts.

NOTE: In case electrolyte solution is filled above the specified
upper level line or beyond the bottom end of the sleeve,
remove the excess electrolyte solution until the electrolyte
solution level is down to the bottom end of the sleeve by using
a pipette.
After neutralizing the removed electrolyte solution with
sodium bicarbonate, flush it with plenty of water, otherwise,
consult the battery manufacturer.
