CAUSE/ACTION
The memory capacity has been exceeded. Print the faxes
stored in memory to delete them. Then try again.
If you get an OUT OF MEMORY message while
scanning the first page, press Stop/Exit to cancel the scan.
If you get an OUT OF MEMORY message while
scanning in a subsequent page, you will have the option to
press Copy to copy the pages scanned so far, or to press
Stop/Exit to cancel the operation. You can also print
faxes received in memory to delete them, erase voice
messages (FAX-1030e Only) or delete stored documents
by using the job Cancel function (see Printing a Fax from
Memory (Only for FAX-1020e), page 28, Erasing
Messages, page 64 and Cancelling a Scheduled Job, page
41), and then try again or copy the document without using
Sort, Reduce or Enlarge function.

Messages, page 64 and Cancelling a Scheduled Job, page
41), and then try again or you can send the fax without
using memory transmission.
The paper is jammed in the machine. (See Document Jam,
page 74.)
