5.1.4 Cable connections

The coaxial cable connections between CPUs are shown in figure 5.3.
As shown in figure 5.3, the TXD is connected to the opposing RXD to ensure that only one cable is sued for
the entire link system. The maximum length of the coaxial cable between stations is 500m. The overall length
of the cable (the total length of the cable between each station) is 1,000m

5.1.5 Using the insulated cable connector tube

Ensure that the insulated cable connector tube supplied covers the entire BNC connector.

Note: If the BNC connector in use is not the recommended model and has a larger diameter preventing it from
being inserted into the insulation tube, cut the tube as shown below.
Secure the insulation tube in place from the top with insulation tape to prevent it from
falling of.
