q Microphone opening
This opening picks up the speaker's
voice.
w Infrared emitter
Emits infrared light and transmits audio
signals.
Do not cover the infrared emitter with
hands, clothes, or labels, etc.
e Microphone selection indicator (blue)
[OWN]
Lights when [OWN] (audio from q, u, or
!4 ) is selected for adjusting the volume.

Blinking indicates that the microphone is
muted. (☞ page 18)
r Microphone selection indicator (blue)
[OTHER]
[OTHER] microphone refers to other
microphone receiving audio at the same
receiver. Lights when the [OTHER]
microphone is selected for adjusting the
volume. (☞ page 16, 17)
t Line selection indicator (blue) [LINE]
[LINE] refers to external devices con-
nected to the line input terminal of the
receiver. Lights when [LINE] is selected
for adjusting the volume. (☞ page 16, 17)
The line volume adjusting function is
available with the infrared receiver/ampli-
fier (WX-LA50) and the infrared wireless
powered speaker (WX-LP100). (as of
June 2009)
y Volume control buttons [D/C]
Adjust the volume of [OWN], [OTHER]
and [LINE]. (Adjustment range: +6 dB to
–16 dB, in 2-dB steps) Adjust when any
one of the indicators in e to t is on.
Pressing the [D] button will increase the
volume.
Pressing the [C] button will decrease the
volume.
Keeping the buttons pressed will contin-
uous increase/decrease the volume.

u External input terminal [AUDIO IN]
(side)
Transmits the audio from a connected
external device to the receiver.
When an external device is connected to
this
terminal,
Microphone opening and !4 Microphone
input terminal is muted. (☞ page 20)
i Charge indicator (red) [CHG]
Indicates the charging status. (☞ page
22)
ON: Charging.
OFF: Charging completed, or no battery
installed.
Blinking: A dry cell or deteriorated
rechargeable battery is installed.
o DC input terminal [3.3V
Used to connect the charger (WX-LZ150)
for charging the battery installed in the
microphone and to supply power to the
microphone. (☞ page 22, 23)
!0 Function button [F]
Pressing this button will activate two pre-
viously set functions. (☞ page 11, 12)
Enabled only when used in combination
with a receiver that supports this feature.
(Unreleased as of June 2009)
!1 [PWR/MUTE] button
Pressing this button will turn the micro-
phone power [ON/OFF]. To turn "ON",
press it for 1 second or more, to turn
"OFF", press it for 2 seconds or more.
While the power is on, pressing this but-
ton short once will mute the microphone,
and pressing this button again will can-
cel muting. (☞ page 15, 18)
!2 Selector button [SELECT]
Selects the target for volume control.
Each time the button is pressed, the
selection indicator changes as follows:
[OWN] → [OTHER] → [LINE] → [OWN].
