Possible causes
No power.
The operating keys are locked.
There may be a thin layer of water
over the keys or you may be using the
tip of your finger when touching the
keys.
1. Rough-edged cookware is used.
2. Unsuitable, abrasive scourer or
cleaning products are used.
This may be caused by the
construction of your cookware (layers
of different metals vibrating differently).
Electromagnetic induction technology.
There is a cooling fan in the appliance
to prevent the electronics from
overheating. The fan may continue to
run even after heating is stopped.
1. The appliance cannot detect the
pot because it is not suitable for
induction cooking.
2. The appliance cannot detect the
pot because it is too small for the
cooking zone or not properly placed
in the center of the cooking zone.
What to do
1. Make sure the appliance is
connected to the power supply
and is switched on.
2. Check whether there is a power
outage near or in your house. If
you've checked everything and
the problem persists, contact the
Panasonic service center.
Unlock the operating keys. See
''Child lock'' (EN12)
Make sure the touch control area is
dry and use the ball of your finger
when touching the keys.
1. Use cookware with flat and
smooth bottoms. See "Suitable
Cookware". (EN10)
2. See "How to Clean." (EN16)
This is normal for cookware and not
a malfunction.
This is normal, but the noise should
be lowered or disappear when you
decrease the heat level.
This is normal and needs no action.
Do not unplug the power plug from
the wall socket and power off the
appliance while the fan is running.
1. Use cookware with flat and
smooth bottom. See "Suitable
Cookware". (EN10)
2. Place the pan in center and make
sure that its bottom matches the
size of the cooking zone.
