RECOMMENDED M-NET WIRING PROCEDURE –
CABLE LIMITATIONS AND SYSTEM EXAMPLES
1. Follow all pertinent wiring regulations and safety procedures.
2. Transmission control cables where possible must be 50mm away from mains cable to prevent
electrical noise affecting the control circuit. Do not run control and mains in the same conduit.
3. Earth and neutral connection and testing back to MCC must be carried out by an electrician
prior to powering up the outdoor unit.
4. Do not connect 230 volts to M-Net connection. This will result in catastrophic board failure.
5. Two core screened 1.25mm
