Connect the power cable (1) and data cable (2) to the rear of the drive.

Connect the opposite end of the data cable to one of the light blue SATA connectors on the system board
labeled SATA1, SATA2, or SATA3.

Before you remove the old hard drive, be sure to back up the data from the old hard drive so that you
can transfer the data to the new hard drive.
