Removing the system fan

Follow the procedure in

Remove the:
a
Back cover
b
Front bezel

Open the
Front panel
door.

To remove the system fan:
a
Disconnect the system fan cable from the connector on the system board [1].
b Remove the tape that holds the intrusion switch cable on the system fan and move the cable away.
c
Stretch the grommets securing the fan to the computer to ease the removal of the fan [2].
d Slide the system fan out of the computer [3].
