3.6
Electrical Connection
3.6.1 DC Power Supply Connection
The Radio is supplied with a mating screw terminal plug, Phoenix P/N: 1777989 that needs to
be wired on the back. There is no DC power cable supplied with the radio. The radio should be
connected to a 36 to 60 VDC power supply. The DC source must be capable of supplying 10
amps and is recommended to be on a dedicated circuit that is protected by a fuse or circuit
breaker capable of 10 amps. Ensure wire of appropriate size is used. Tighten screw terminal
locking screws with a screwdriver to prevent disconnection of plug from the socket.
